Wellington; May 12" __ The Premier, who left for Australia today, will be away for three weeks or monbh. Hf> will visit Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. He is accompanied by Mrs Seddon and two of their daushtere— Mrs . Dwyer and Miss May Seddon. During Mr Seddon's absence Mr HaJl-Jonea ■will be acting-Premier. Mr Seddon's health has . not been all that could be desired of late, and his medical advisers have advised rest a-nd. a change. Mrs Dwyer, also, is - making the trip largely for health reasons. The post of Aeting-Premior would fall by official seniority to the Hon. Mr Carxol. but the Native Minister is so busy now with bia own department that he is unable to under Itake further duties. Mr Seddon, while in Australia will discuss the question ofc reciprocity between the two countries, awl probaWy Asiafcio immigration would be) another matter for discussion. Defence- and cables sen-ices will in all probability also be <k>a!t '.vith.
