ATHENS, May 1. The final for the 400 Metres Race reinlted as follows: — Pilgrim (America) 1, B^akwell (Scotland) 2, Barker (Sydney) 3. Time, 53 l-ssec. May 2. Herring (Canada) won the 26-mile Marathon Race in 2hr 51min 23sec. There were 48 competitors, including one from 'Australia. ATHENS, May 3. The Americans won 75 prizes at the Qlymphic games, the British 39, and the Bwedes and Grecians 28 -each. .None of the American representatives vas named Pilgrim, and it is nrobable that the ,100 metres race was won by Hillman fa member of the New York Athletic Club). Halswell. who finished second in tho race, is the English s-nd Scottish quarter-mile , champion.
