The attendance of buyers was not as large as usual, but bidding was very brisk for every lot, and prices showed, a slight advance on those paid a fortnight ago; particularly on medium-weight ox and cow of good quality, these ruling on Thursday at from s£d to 5Jd, whilst at the last sales they did not realise more than from 5Jd to sid.
