A MOTOR SKATE.
The first motor skate (shown at the Paris Salon) ias been designed by M. Constantini. •Each Bkate is fitted with a motor of lg h.p. air-cooled- A girdle round the waist of the skater carries the petrol tank, which holds three-quarters of a litre of fuel. He also carries the coil and accumulator and the levers for controlling the speed of the engines. Holding the control lever in his right hand, and having made the necessary arrangements to switch ,on the current and open the petrol supply, the skater pushes off , on -one JFoot in. the jusuai way. It can go 30 tniies'an hour.
