A.J.C. AUTUMN MEETING. Third Day— Wednesday, April 18. The weather was fine and hot for the third day of the A.J.C. autumn meeting, and th« attendance was large for an off day. Gladsome vres first to move, but once tho horses got fairly going Marvel Loch assumed command, followed by Lady Wallace, Gladsome, and North Head in the order named. Excepting that Lady Wallace and Gladsomw' improved their positions there was no change till the home turn was reached, where Lady Wallace drew level with Marvel Loch. Befora reaching the St. Leger stand Gladsome was abreast the leaders. Lady Wallace shot out opposite the St. Leger stand, and looked all over a. winner, bu-t Gladsome, with a great effort, caught her ait the half distance, and th« pair struggled side by side to tdie- finish, Gladsome winning by half a Keid.
