KUMARA RACES.
Wretched weather prevailed -for the second day of the Jvuinara races. Ohio (£4 16s) won ' the President's Handicap. Rubin came in first in the Trot, but was disqualified '■ for ■ starting before the time, and the race given 4<* Cob (£S lla), with Forsaken ChUd (£ls ios) in second place. Nor'-wester (£3 15s) won fh» Greenstone Handicap, First View i£2 7s) the Miners' Purse, Screwjack (£3 ss) the Autumn. Trot, First View (£1 13s) the Telegraph Handicap, and Nor'-wester (£2 14s) 'the Farewell Handicap.
