'loose, and Tr. Smith. THE. WINNING TEAM, SARGOOD CUP, 1906 The Sargocd Cup was presented by the late Sir Frederick Sargood to the volunteers of New Zealand. It has been won by the A Battery, Auck'and, by the Wellington Guard's. a:.d twice in succession by the Dunedin Navals. It therefore becomes the property of this corps. The team shown here consists cf the men who competed both years for the trophy. At the presentation to the Navals, Mr W. Sargood promised another cup for competition, and it behoves the Otago companies to keep in practice in view of an early competition.
