WELLINGTON, April 20. 'At a meeting of the City Council tonight it was decided to send a message of sympathy with the sufferers by the 'Frisco disaster. The Mayor said citizens would be given an opportunity of ehowing their sympathy in other ways. Subsequently, he said that the form of "the movement would be decided in a ciav or two, and indicated that subscriptions would be invited. If anyone in the colony of New Zealand having relatives in San Francisco gives the names and addresses of such relatives to the Premier, he will telegraph to the Government mail agent or the Resident Government Agent at San Francisco respecting tlieir safety.
