NEW ZEALANDERS IN SAN FRANCISCO.
In addition to the list of New Zealandcrs in San Francisco given yesterday we learn from various sources of others, as follow : — Two sisters of Nurse Palmer, who has a private hospital in Wellington. One of the sisters is the wife of Mr Roberts, who at one time was manager of the Bank of New Zealand in Dunedin. They live in a stone house in one of the suburbs which is said to have suffered by the earthquake. There was a club in San Francisco composed of Now Zealanders and Australians named the Cooec Club. Mr Frank Williams, a well-known Auckland musician, had his business premises in Market street. Mr Frank Fraer, draper, of Dunedin, had a position in a large softgoods house. Mrs J. L. Taylor, who. as Miss Jessie Wilson, was well known in amateur operatic circles in Wellington some 5 - ears ago, resided with her husband and child in San Francisco. Mr Dave Wilson, of the Evening Post staff, is her brother-in-law. Mr Alf Pilkington. brother of Captain Pilkington", of the N.Z.R. Artillery, and his wife, who is a sister of Mr Angus M'Curdy (colonial secretary of the Farmers' Union), are residents of San Francisco. Mrs A. M'Curdy's sister al?o resides in the same city. Others resident in that city include Mr A. L. Williams (son of the Rev. Mr J. Williams), and Mr Sandoe (Ashburton), Mr Rusden, who was drill instructor on the Wellington staff of the Permanent Artillery, settled last month with Mrs Rusden in Berkeley. Mr and Mrs Watkins and family (relatives of the Misses Watkins, of Princes street), reside in Oakland ; Mr and Miss Keay (brother and sister of Mrs A. M'Gill, of Moray place) and Mrs Cross and family also reside in Oakland. Mr Alex. Mitchell (brother of Mr Henry Mitchell, of Mercer and Mitchell) resides at Santa Rosa ; and Mr Minifie and w,ife reside in San Francisco.
