ANDERSON.— On the 21st October, at his residence, Kereru, Hawke's Bay, after a long and serious illness, John, the beloved husband of Margaret Anderson; aged 69 years. BEALE. — On the 23rd October, at his residence, Forfar street, Mosgiel, Elisha Joseph Beale, late of Macetown; aged 72 years. Gone from our home, how sadly we miss him, Lovingly, dear father, thy memory we'll

DUKE.— On the 4th November (suddenly), at Dunedin Hospital, James I. Duke, late U.S.S. Company; aged 60 years. DUFF. — On the 4th November, at her residence, Marvhill, Waihola, Mary, the beloved wif« of William Duff, sen.; aged 87 years.— Deeply regretted. 'GALLAND. — Passed away, at the residence of 'his parents, 28 Howe street, after a lingering illness, Albert, the beloved youngest son of James B. and Susan Galland; aged 30 years. — " At rest." SEATON.— On the 2nd Novembejj, at her residence, Portobello, Marion Thomson, relict of the late James Seatou: a^ 84 years. Deeply regretted.
