ANNUAL SPRING SALE OF DRAUGHT AND LIGHT-HARNESS HORSES.
Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and' Co. report as follows:—We continued our annual spring horse sale on Friday, when the entry consisted chiefly of medium-quality draught and light-harness horses left over from Thursday's sale. There were one or two exceptions in the draught olass, however, and these sold readily at up to £41. There was again a large gathering of the pubUc in the yaTd, and notwithstanding ' the poor quality of most of the horses a fair miinber changed hands at satisfactory prices. Good young draughts, had they been forward, would again have been easily disposed of. We have inquiries for I two or three real good young harness horses, ! cebs. and ponies. Our usual weekly sale v.'ill i be held at 11.30 a.m. to-day.
