CHRISTCHURCH, September 1. A few lots of wheat are offering locally, but there is practically no demajid. Samples at *11 sprouted are not looked at. The only saleable wheat is prime, weight, of which little is lo be bad. 'Oats are firmer^ but little business is doing. Oat sheaf is in fair supply- Prices show little (•( • "change. - T?ew potatoes. ar.e_ pffering, growers holding trat for about £12 per ton.
