DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB.
The monthly meeting of the D.J.C. Commitee, held on the 29th ult., was attended by Messrs S.^Solomon (in the chair), Ewing, Gow. Thomson, Miller, Coughlan, Myers, and Hanlon. The Programme 'Committee submitted its report showing several, alterations and improvements on last season's programme and an increase of stakes amounting to £105. — Adopted. The Totalisator Committee recommended that Mr Mason be appointed^_to work the totaiisators for the season, and that the email recording- machines be done away with, and tickets issued on the Christchurch system.— Adopted..., "" , The t Secretary submitted suggestions for several improvements and alterations in connection with- the totalisator buildings to facilitate .the system of working.—The suggestions .were' adopted and ordered to be carried out. The transfer, of b c Windflower from the Hon. Geo. M'Lean to St. J. Buckley was passed.,.
