CO-OPERATIVE FREEZING WORKS.
NAPIER, August 25. A company Is in course of formation amongst the shoep farmers of Hawke's Bay for the- purpose of purchasing the freezing and meat preseiving woiks of Messrs Nelson Bros. (Limited) at Tomoana. The proposed company is to be called the Tomoana Cooperative Freezing Company (Limited), with a capital of £100,000, of whicL £60,000 will be issued in fully paid-up bhares. The new company would_ take over the whole of thebuildings, machinery, plant, and busines-s of tho pr-esent company at Tomoana, together with 50 acres land, and would undertake the freezing of sheep and cattle for shareholders and others, and also to find purchasers in London. It is proposed hat all profits, after the payment of a dividend, be divided with shareholders on the ha<is of the amount of stock frozen by each hi-
d dnidual. Guarantees have already been >r gi\cn for the freezing of 100,000 annually for 11 some years. At present 15,000 shares have ifi baen applied for.
