DRAUGHTS MATCH.
DENISriSTOX v. MILLERTON. A Denniston correspondent writes as follows on the 22nd inst.. — Our players journeyed to Millerton on Salniday, 19th, to play the-aretum match with Millerton players. The match resulted in a win for De-uniston by 21 games to 11. After ihe match w?s over the teams adjourned to Parker's Hotel Dining Koonis for supper After supper was over the following- programme was gone thrcvigh,; —Speeches', Messrs Wilson and Jfackliitai (captains); recitation. Mr E. Foot; soiigs —Messrs Johnstone, Jenkina, Green, Kidd, Grant (2), and Dixon. Mr Risk, captain of the Waimangaroa Draughts Club, was chairman.
