Cardigan, and Queen of Clubs'. i i ■ A meeting of tlie Workers' Political Committee was hckl on the 23rd, when the following resolution was carried: — "That, while approving of the provisions of tho Workmen's Dwelling Bill introduced by the Government, this committee prote-ta against the proviso in it granting the 'Ve-a-hold of the land to any tenant." A copy of the resolution is to be sent to every mem* ber of the Hoxise of Representatives.
We have to acknowledge receipt of the annual report of the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, with the usual statistics, etc., issued ia pamphlet form.
