DUHEDIN HOSPITAL EXTENSION FUND.

A meeting of the Subscription Committee was held at the secretary's office on Wednesday, afternoon to receive the report's of collectors There were present —Messrs X>. E. Theomin (chairman), E. A. Tanper, W. D. Stewart, T. S. Culling, R. M. Clark, W. Fels, G. L. Dcnniston, J. Loudon, Dr Gordon Maedonalcl, the Rev. leather Coffoy, and Mr James M. E. Garrow (secretary). Apologies for absence were i*ooeived from Messrs P. Miller, TV. Wills, and J- Robin. The Secretary reported that the total to date, including the amounts handed in afc the meeting, amounted to £2137 Is Bd. Mv J. G. M'George's name was added to tho committee. Messrs Tapper, Stewart, and the chairman were appointed a subcommittee to report as to arrangements for a systematic collection throughout the city.
