CLEARING- SALE AT MERRIE CREEK FARM NEAR CLINTON.

Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. report taving' held, on beLalf of Mr James Motion Hwhose farm they have just sold) a clearing aale of the whole of his sheep, cattle, horses, and fanning implements, etc., on the 29th inst. Mr Motion's arrangements for the sale -were all that cotild be desired, and the weather was most propitious. Everything being for bona. fide sale, there was an excellent attendance of farmers and settlers from the surrounding district, and an excellent sale
