Maiket barely supplied. Oranges: Islands, 6in cases, 7s 6d to 8s Gel; 9in, 12s 6d to 14a; Sydney, 8s to 9s, repacked ; Mandarins, 6s 6d to 7s 6d. Lemons: Mildura, 7s to Bs. Pineapples: Very few offering. Bananas, 6s 6d to 8s 6d; green repack, 2d to 2id; ripe, 8s 6d to 10s. Apples : Cooking, in short supply, 5s to 7s ; inferior, 3s to 4s per case ; dessert, 5s to 7s; inferior, 3s 6d to 4s; Tasmanian, 7s 6d to 9s 6d. G rape-s, Is 6d to Is Bd. Marrows, 8s to 8s Od per sack. Tomatoes, 9d to 9Jd.
Produce-. — Potatoes: Kidneys, £6 10s to £7; Oamaru Derwents, £7 5s to £7 10s, southern, £& 17s 6d to £7. Onions: Canterbury, £16; Melbourne, 19s. Butter: Fresh, 6£d to 7Jd ; separator, 9£d to lOld per Ib. Bacon, 6Jd to 7id. Hams, 7161 to Bel. Pigs, 4d p?r lb. Poultry : In good demand. Roosters, 3s to 4s ; hens, 2s to 3s ; ducks, 3s to 4s ; turkeys, wanted. We advise clients to send direct to us, as we can secure better average prices than by consigning to Government depot.
