OAMARU PRODUCE AND STOCK MARKET.

(Faoir Ocb Own Cobrespondent.) OAMARU, July 2. There is not a great deal doing in the local wheat market. Farmers have been offering grain more freely, but at prices above millers* limits. Velvet has been sold at 2s lOd at siding, less commission, and one prime sample •realised 2s lid. Tuscan is selling at 2s lOd •to *33 lid for prinie samples, but holders aro Peking -3s. Red chaff is at 2s 8d to 2s 9d. Several lots cf seconds have sold at 2s 2d to 23 3d, and fox fowl wheat there is an inquiry at up to 2s B£a (f.0.b., Oamaru). Oaia are a shade firmer, on* line of 400 eacks of Gartens being sold for shipment '•north at Is lOd (f.0.b., sacks in, or equal to 'Is 7Jd at farmers' sidings, less commission). Other sales of milling Gartons have been Mnado at Is 7Jd, and of good feed at Is 7d. :J)anish have been, sold at Is 6d and Is 6£d, Jjk7hile for a choice Is 7d (less commission) was "ibtained. Seed lots of oats can be quitted at 'up to 23 (less commission), according to Quality, Thero is no feed barley offering in the presence of a fair demand. Cowgrass crops are now being threshed, • juid are turning out fairly well, with a promise of a tolerably large quantity. Sales have been anadte of farmers' dressed lota at 6d to 7d per ib. I The stock market is quiet, the principal inqariry being for hoggets at 15s to 16s; for sound-mouthed breeding ewes at 19s to 225; and for two, four, »nd six-tooths at 22s to ,24s 6d, at which latter figure one line was sold during tho week.
