Velvet has been sold at 2s lOd at siding, less commission, and one prime sample •realised 2s lid. Tuscan is selling at 2s lOd •to *33 lid for prinie samples, but holders aro Peking -3s. Red chaff is at 2s 8d to 2s 9d. Several lots cf seconds have sold at 2s 2d to 23 3d, and fox fowl wheat there is an inquiry at up to 2s B£a (f.0.b., Oamaru). Oaia are a shade firmer, on* line of 400 eacks of Gartens being sold for shipment '•north at Is lOd (f.0.b., sacks in, or equal to 'Is 7Jd at farmers' sidings, less commission).
