Chess Items.
An exhibition of simultaneous play is to be given at the Otago Chess Club to-night (Wednesday) at 8 p.m., when Mr J. Edwards, exchampion of New Zealand, will engage 12 players in contest. A free invitation is extended to all desirous of witnessing the performance.
The match between the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board's employees and 10 junior members of the Otago Chess Club is fixed for July 5, at 8 p.m.
