CARRUTHERS.— On the 25th June, at her son's residence, Red Bank, Maungatuaj Mrs Robert Carruthers, late of Linnet Hall, Soutbwick, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland; in her eighty-eighth year. COOK.— On the 25th June, at the Dunedin Hospital, Mary, the beloved wife of "Walter A. Cook, and daughter of John and Jane Girven, Blue Spur; aged 39 years. DOUGLAS.— On tlie 29th Maich, at 192 High sheet, Porto bello, Scotland, Elizabeth Fowler, widow of Thomas Douglas, Bonnrigg; mother of Thomas Dougla?, Toowoomba, Queensland; aged 79 veais. FLETCHER.— On the 24th June," at the residence of her brother-in-law (Mr J. "Walker), Upper Maclaggan street, Dunedin. Euphemia (Fame), the dearly beloved youngest daughter of Donald and M^iry Fletcheij of Pgrt Chalmers. "At rest."
