May 27. At a meeting of the Executive Council of the Auckland Provincial Employers' Assooiation, called to consider the programme adopted at the conference of the Trades and Labour Councils' delegates, held at Wellington at Easter; most of the clauses were declared an altogether unreasonable and unwarrantable interference with' the rights and liberties of the employers, and decidedly opposed to the welfare of th© colony.
