TOWN v. COUNTRY.
The first district to send in their entries for the above match is Highcliff. The following names have been received per Mr James Sim. — Messrs Whyte, Fairbairn, W. Henderson, A. "Walker, J. Sim.
In country districts, where Mr Gardiner lias no secretary, will the draught players kindly arrange to send their names per some one of their number at as early a date as possible.
Mr J. Shore, Otokia, reports that he has so far received promises from eight good men. and true to repiesent his district, so he has not been idle. He will forward the list of his team in good time. We would request all players to -watch tot announcements in this column next week.
