May 22. The threshing in and around this iistrict is now almost completed, and strings of heavily-laden drays can be seen daily :arting the grain to the railway. The yield ;his year, with the exception of some that lad :been shaken by the wind, is rather above the average of former years, and the season laving been a fairly good one, the crop was well harvested, and the sample now is bright md clean.
