The popularity oi the Alhau.brr Tl'eatu as a place of public amusement v.vs amply ctemonstrrted on Saturday evenni; M'l-en the. building was filled to the doois; indeed, a small house is an exceptional experience of Messrs Fuller and Sons. In the second part Ardo. the " human frog," performed some lemaikable feats of contortion, for which he received round" Ol applause In the illustrated scigs "Ey V-e fountain" and " Jlsrj of Argyic" 3.ir Many Hart was at his best, and he v.as not rillr-.Tecl to leave the stagf beforp responding to x, well-deserved recall. Mr Har:y Harrison, as " Ccster Joe," was a favourite entertainer, and there wa<= no mistaking his popularity with the audience. In the sketch' " The Invincible Invalid ' Miss Leigh and 1 M- S-m Wilson w»re thoroughly at home, aru i''ciirendition of .the comedy occasion <■- .7 ucli amusement, and they were recalled &o\e:al times. Miss Alma Lyndon sang Rrsie Doon " and several other pieces, her first item receiving the compliment of pneores. Amongst the artistes who appeared in the first part were Miss Delwyn. in a pretty conn song-; Miss F. Leigh, in the sorg " Can't we take a few home, father '" -i Miss Annie Tye. in the comic number be there." The performance concluded a series of excellent vitsgraph pictures. .j. Monday night Mr Fred Rivenhall, with ii new budget of songs, mad© his reappearance , and Mr B. Foster. an " end man," made his first bow to an Alhaanbra auaienoe. On Saturday night next the Reyes Tiio, bil'ed as "the iron-jawed marvels," will appear for the first time.
