OUR CRICKET CRITICISED.
SYDNEY, March 30.
Mr C Bannerman, who has been cricket coach to Chiist's College, Canterbury, has returned from New Zealand. He did not consider that the New Zealand cricket team was the best combination that could 1 have been got together. The team did not play up to anything like its form, and the bowlers did not leceive proper support. Referring to the condition of cricket in New Zealand), he said that the want of a district system was badly felt. If this system were established it would cause an increase in interest in all matches, and lead to more playing grounds.
