NEW ZEALAND FOX TERRIER CLUB.
A meeting of this club was held on March 8 ; present — Messrs J. Philpot (Auckland), ehaiiman; S. E. Harrop (Hawke's Bay), A. Minogue (Wellington), F. W. "Vosseler (treasurer), and the secretary. One new member (Mr F. Houselander, Christchurch) was elected, and application for membership was received from three others. Two southern clubs ajjplied for trophies, and tho following reply was sent : "' That it was our intention, to hold our show in connection with the Wellington Kennel Club this year, and, having received no leply yet re holding their show, our trophies are not at our disposal ai present. But should we rece-ive a reply in the negative \re shall then consider their application."
The Secretary reported that in placing the order for the club's new shield the manufacturer (Mr F. Grady) suggested having the conditions engraved thereon. — This wai agreed to.
It was resolved that the Wellington Kennel Club be written to asking- for a reply to the cltib's last letter, and stating that the- club has had several request.? ,for i(s trophies from outside bodies, and must have a reply before he end of he monh.
