THE LIVERPOOL COLONIAL EXHIBITION.

On Wednesday the Liverpool Colonial Exhibition, at which New Zealand is exhibiting, was reopened, after having been closed for a few days.
In opening the exhibition on that day, i the Agent-geneial for New Zealand thanked rhj> authorities for allowing him to take , part in the holding of such a succes?ful enterprise as that admitedly had proved. He had hardly hoped to see anything so bright, so busy, s > well-attended, so varied, and so interesting as the display that at present filled the hall. It seemed to him that their only difficulty was not the getting of material for the exhibitions in the future, but the pro^sion of sufficient space to accomodate the exhibits that would i crowd in upon chem. That exhibition

What one colony could not produce another nj- able to furnish, and the only conclusion that could be come to was that there were very few wants ■which the Brit-sh Empire was not able to satisfy.
