In accordance with the minority report of the select committee on the administration of the Central South African railways, representing the views of the business section of Johannesbui'g, and expressing a desire to secure a civil administrator with great financial knowledge, Colonel Sir Percy Girouard hasi resigned the Gemmissioner-jhip of Railway*.
