1 Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. report having. effected the following sales of laud: — I Castl"rock Estate.— Allotment PI, Castleiock, 1 containing 362^ acres strong flat land in Eng- | lish grass, to Mr W. F. Allen, of Ashburton. I This is one of the choicest portions of the ! c°tate. and will make an excellent farm. Morton Mains Estate. — On account of Mr ' Hugh M'Lean, allotment No. 2, Morton Mains j Estate, containing 240 acres, and being part 1 oi section 42, Lothian Hundred, to Mr J. Aitcheson, of Morton Mains ; also allotment 3, j containing 316 V acres, and being part of the same section, to Mr J. W. T. Chapman, of Alford Forest, North Canterbury. Both of these farms have been most liberally treated by the vendor during the past lew years in 1 the matter of lime and manure, and the purj chasers will reap the benefit of this. All these blocks, with the exception of Messrs Ralton Bros.' ! purchase, are in English grass, and ready for j cultivation.
