A- meeting of th& Committee of the Otago Rugby Union was held on Tuesday afternoon, and. attended by Messrs M'Laren (president), Campbell, Cavanagh, Duncan, iDunne, Harris, Hutohison, Hisloo, Hanlon, Munro, Priest, Smith, Wilkinson, Wilson,

Messrs Dunne, Munro, and Cavanagh were ! appointed- a Flag Committee for the year, j and it was resolved to start flag matches on ; the 23rd of April. { ' - It was agreed to 'call for applications for , the, position of secretary of the, union, at a- ! " «aWy of £50 a year. ! The Dunedin and Pirates Football Clubswere respectively granted sub-leases of the Caledonian and Carisbrook Grounds for the season, and sub-committees wer& appointed to. act in. relation to questions affecting the terms of tbeowion's occupation of certain -grounds for the year. A. sub~oomotnittee was appointed to draft amendment of th» by-laws to provide for the admission of sub-unions The Ophir Football Club was affiliated with the- union. "' It ' was resolved that c 7 ub membership tickets should admit th^ holders to theunion's grounds for the first round of flag inatcbes only.
