THE RUSSO - JAPANESE WAR.
Of the forty-six battleships and cruisers which Japan possessed at the beginning of the war, eighteen were British-built. One of these, the "Tsukushi," is not shown above, as an authentic picture was not obtainable. Most of Japan's torpedo boats are British-built. They numbered thirty-four, and thirty mare are building. —From Illustrated London News.
