The undeicarriage (with l^in axles and wheels) is veiy strong, and fit for use on the roughest roads It is fitted with a powerful brake, a portao'e table and camp stool, and a light Ammoin (canvas and hickory) stietcher (the latter lllb in weight). These are the only loose inter i.d fittings. Mr Shaw left for the Waitaki di itnct, en route to Canterbury, on Saturday, 23id January. He is at present in ' the Temuka district, Canterbury.
