Ex-Sergeant H. J. Morrison and exTrooper Hacker, who were members of the New South Wales Bushmen's South African Contingent, left Adelaide recently on bicycles on a long prospecting tour. They intend to go via Tarcoola and th© Musgrave Ranges to Port Darwin, and intend to take notes of the country they pa^3 through. As long, dry spells may be expected, the travellers have arranged to take a week's supply of water in the tyres of their machines They will be absent about, 12 months.
-• — Th© Dunlop Tyie Co. (England) made a profit last year of £212,733 9s 2d, as against £164,462 5s 7d in 1902, which shows clearer than anything else the tremendous increase of cycling. Debentures to the extent of £132,600 were paid off during the 3'ear, whilo the dividends declared are 5 per cent, on the preference and 6 per cent, on the ordinary shares.
