RACING IN AUSTRALIA.
RACING IN VICTORIA.
A Melbourne cable states that heavy rain fell on Saturday for the V.A.T.C meeting at Caulfield. The race for the Oakleigh Plate resulted as follows — Silemis 1, Tisiphone 2, English Rose 3. Fifteen started : Betting : 4 to 1 agsfc Lady Dona, 7 to 1 Silemis, 10 to 1 English Rose. Silemis took command entering the stiaight, and won the Tace in blinding lam by a length and a-half. Time, lmin 14sec.
