Dawn in the east has raised her golden head, She smiles upon the world with beauty rare; The dew-stars glitter, the flowers, forest-fair, Turn faces gay towaid heaven; liie is wed To youth and beauty, and the hope that fed Valiant s'ayers of man's deep despair Thro 1 ages bids us proudly live, arid dare All foes.
