The Farmers' Union and Co-opera-tion.
TO THE EDITOR
Sir,— Some time ago there appeared in your paper a re-port by tho executive of the Fanners' Union on the subject of co-opera-tion, and on June 17 Mr Harrison, managing director of the Ota,go Farrrers' Cooperation Association of New Zealand (Limited) rep'ied to Mr Buckland in your isMio of that date. I, along with a good many others, have been patiently waiting for a reply to Mr Harrison's letter. It would bo" interesting to know what amount of support has been accorded to any cooperative society by the executive of the Farmers' Union, and also why they have so pci-iftently ignored the three companies doing biifincsi between O.imaru and Hore.— I am, eU., , A Member of the Fu'.meiis I xio>r. Taien, July 2.
