CLUTHA STOCK SALES,
The Otago Farmers' Co-operative Association of New Zealand (Limited) renort having held their fortnightly sale at the Borough Yards, Balclutha, on Friday last. The yarding of cattlo was a fairly heavy one, whilst sheep, etc , were moderately represented. The attendance was exceptionally large, and the competition all through, particularly for young cattle, was keen. We yarded 83 head of cattle and 4 pigs, and sold for various owners at the following rates. — SteeTs, from £4 5s to £4 15s, heifers, from £2 2s to £?. 18s; cows, from £4 15s to £7 2s 6d ; pigs, from 10s to 40s.
