SALE OF WAGGONERS' TEAMS AT OUTRAM.

Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. report a^ follows — Wo held at Outram on Friday, June 26, a highly suocsessful clearing sale of di aught horses, waggons, hajm«ss, and sundries on account of Messrs John Drummond and Tim Haurahan. There was an excellent attendance of buyers, and, as it was widely known that the teams were for absolute sale, bidding, especially for sound young draughts, was extremely animated. The teams were just out of hard work, and were not made up for sale in any way. Mr Drummond's horses were first offered, and, as tho animals weTo in good working order, they were keenly competed for, the following being particulars oi the prices realised. — Bay maro Violet, 6yrs, by Herd Laddie, £56; bay gelding Nipper, syrs, £52; bay geldiifg Billy, syrs, £47; 'bay gelding Scot, 7yrs, £42; bay mare Nancy, £36; bay mare Bess, ag-ed, £33 10s; and the remainder — aged, " done" horses^ — were disposed of at up to £21. Mr Haurahan's stock was not in great " nick,' and we obtained ths undermentioned prices for his team: — Bf,y mare Mag, 7yrs, a good, uuggeity beast, £53; bay gelding Bob, 6yrs, £il; black gelding Jack, 6yrs, by Cock of the Walk, a good stamp of spring-van horse, £35 10s } black gelding Darkie. £33 10s; bay gelding Dick, syrs, a. nice spring-carter, £29 10s; and another aged horsa at £12 10s. Mr Drummond's waggon was sold at £27, and Mr Hauruhan's at £17, while good prices were obtained

for the harness and sundries offered by both vendors.
