COURSING.
Tho initial stake got up by the Dunedin Coursing Club has olosed with a 60-dog entry, which must be deemed highly satisfactory to the club, and also to "lovers of the leash" who are desirous of seeing the sport flourish once more in Dunedin. Everything is in readiness to hold the meeting, and a liberal supply of good strong hares will be on hand to test t)he galloping and working powers of the dogs, who will ibe placed in. the slips on Wedn-eeday next. The list of er.tries includes nominations from mairy prominent coursing men, and no doubt some good spcTt will be furnished at the meeting.
