DYSPEPSIA, PALPITATION CURE,

Ths v~ie of Mrs. T. h. SIMMONS^ (By a Dunedin Reporter). Calling one day at No. 135 Cuinbef? laud-street, Dunedirr, our reporter satr Mrs. Teresa Loral Simmons, who^ ia answer to a question, said: ' " I havo gone through a remarkable experience of suffering in my days, ass if I tell you how it was all promptly, brought to a close, I am sure the ikf formation will be of great value to others. I used to be one of those frail creatures who are for ever ailing. The memories of my younger days are connected with periodical attacks of sic.kj3 ness, each illness assisting to crush tho vitality out of my system till I becami so weak and wretched at last that I had to lie up. For months before this hap-, pened I felt languid and disinclined to. work. The lightest portions of housed work had an enervating effect upon me, oven to dust the furniture making m« feel as tired as if I had been doing a hard day's washing. It was too muca trouble for me to eat, because I had very little desire for food, which, when I did take any, made me feel frightfully uncomfortable in the stomach} where it remained in an undigested; hard lump. I used to swell out teril ribly with wind, besides suffering muclj pain from spasms which set ray heart; all of a nutter. Palpitation used to come on regularly after eating, but more especially at night, when lying in bed? and I was afraid to move for fear ol making it worse, or, more terrifying still, cease beating for ever. My chesS felt stuffed up, thus making it hard {oh, me to breathe, and there was a terrib)« pain in my right side and in. the uppel\ part of my back." ■' ■ " Did you get any better after resW( ing?" ® Not a bit. I got worse, for thai absence of plenty of fresh air and want( of exercise did away with my appetite altogether. However nice the foocl might be, the sight of it turned me sick.' As the fumes of cooking reached my, nostrils I almost heaved my heart upv My complexion was also very bad. Yoij would have thought I had some Oriea^ tal blood in my veins if you had seen; my face then, and my eyes were awfully dead-looking. When I was just about] as weak as a woman could be, I waa afflicted with another complfiint. My nerves went wrong. I used to lie and shake like one with St. Vitus' dance, and if I happened to be left alone in tht house I felt very timid and nervous. Ii a knock came I was too frightened to gd to the door. My life was one perpetual round of agonies and anxieties. I was horribly depressed in spirits, w if nch' thing could possibly cheer me. A p©« ouliar singing noiso ran through my. ears, producing a very distressing effect; and my mouth, well, the bitter taste in it was something dreadful. Tho bones were neary poking through my skin, I was so thin. 4P Following tho' wreck of my nervous system came violent attacks of neuralgia. The painff which started in the side of my fact and shot up to the roof of my head sent me nearly mad. These tortures lasted two or three days without ceas' ing. 1 was unablo to go myself, so m» husband brought in a doctor, who said I had no constitution at all. 'Your health is completely broken down,' h« said, and so it was, for I was in bed three months a helpless invalid." , " Was the dootor hi constant afctendV ance?" ' " No less than three doctors attended me, each prescribing different medicines, all of whioh were impotent and worthless. I was thus without a shred ofi hopo to cling to, and I dread to thinki of what would have happened if I had 1 not been recommended by a chemist to, take Clementa Tonic, which quickly cured my neuralgia and gave me an! appetite. Sweet, undisturbed Bleep oame, and gave me the rest I needed;, nervousness left me, and strength returned. Flesh grew over my frame, a healthy colour appeared in my cheeks,' and not a trace of indigestion or debility remained. I was saved by Clements Tonic, so you may publish theso Btatements any way you think best." STATUTORY DECLARATION. I, Teresa Loral Simmons, of 13s Cmnoerland street, Dunedin, in the Colony oi New Zealand, do solemnly and sincerely declare that I havo carefully read the annexed document, consisting, o! two folios and consecutively numbered frosc one to two, and that <l contains and is a true anoV faithful account oi my illness and cure by Clements. Tonic, »nd also contains my full permission to pub-. Itsb in any way my statements, which I give vofc unurlly, without receiving any payment— and I maka this solemn declaration conscientiously believing tM same to be true, and by virtue ot the provision* M an Act of the General Assembly of few Zealtßsi Intituled " The Justices of Peace Act, ioB«"

A £10 Bank of Bugland note will bring but £2 from a buyer, while £100 worth of plate ivould be worth only £15 or £2C to the thief, who must risk years of lihartv in obtaining it.
