The committee of the Dnnedin Bowling Club lias decided to close tho green from this afternoon, when tho closing match of the season will be played. Arrangements have been made for immediately top-dressing the green, so that players may be assured of a first-class turf next year. The Timaru Bowling Club (three rinks) met the Oaniaru Phoenix C!ub at Wcimate in the final contest for the Association's Banner. Timar'u won by 69 to G6.
