WISE'S DIRECTORIES.

We have received from the publishers a copy of the eleventh issue of Wise's Canterbury, Marlborough, Nelson, and West Coast Directory, ISO 3-4. A distinctive feature of this issue of the well-known work is that in the map of Christ-church and suburbs (given away with the work) the area of Greater Christchurch, which includes as one city the old boroughs of Sydenham, Linwood, and St. Albans, as proclaimed on the Ist April last, is clearly indicated by a tint, enabling even outside residents to gTasp the position of rc-w boundaries froru the surrounding localities. Another feature is the inclusion of the names of the mayors and councillors of boroughs so recently elected as April 30 for two years, all going to show the up to-dateness of the work. The general directory will bo found as complete as usual, with maps also of Nelson, Greymouth, and the colony. The work is well bound, and forms a neat and compact book for handling, as well as a splendid work of reference for Canterbury, the West Coast, Marlborcugh, and Nelson.
