At tho Homebush sales a large proportion of the sheep and cattle were in poor condition as evidences of the drought. Best wethers realised 14s 6d ; good, 13s 6d to 14s ; medium, 10s; best ewes, 14s; extra, 17s; good, 13s fe; 13s Cd ; medium, 9s 6d ; best bullocks, £14 10s ; extra, £15 12s Gd ; good, £11 ; medium, £7 10s ; best cows, £10; good, £7 10s; medium, £6 ss. Best beef averaged 37s per 1001b. March 9. At the Homebush sales best crossbred! •wethers realised 14s 6d; good, 13s 6d to 14s; best ewes, 14s; good, 13s 6d. Best bullocks fetched £14; good, £10 10s; best cows, £9 IO3;, ' good, £7. Best beef averaged 36s per 1001b.
