CYCLIST TERRIBLY INJURED.
- The friends of J. G. Slight, of Marten, the well-known amateur rider, will be sorry to hear that the accident be met with some time ego completely prevented him from, appearing on the tract for a ' considerable time. Medical examination showed that he hurt himself internally, and that his nervous system was . suffering from severe shock. For a long time he wae unable to ride, and he could not even attend to his ordinary , work. His food gave him no strength, and even a quick walk would bring en terrible* dizziness and nausea. It is now well known,' . to his cyclist friends in Morton, Wellington,/ Wanganui, and New Plymouth' that Dr Williams' pink pills for pale people deserve the full oredit for saving Mr Slight from the tortures of chronic Btomaoh trouble and the helplees weakness of general debiliiy to which his accident made him a victim. These pills (always put up in wooden boxes)] so enriched his blood, braced up his nervesv and strengthened his spine that he began to eat well, and was able to get full nourishment from his food. .Gradually these pills put his whole system in perfect order and made a brisk, active man of him again. Now Mr Slight is full of strength and vigour, and is back on the track again as lively as any amateur in New Zealand, and enjoys many a 20 or 30 mile run on his machine. — Advt.
