FLEMING.— On the 11th November, 1902, at Passavant Hospita-1, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. (suddenly, of typhoid fever), James Taylor, second son of Elizabeth and the late Adam Fleming, Gleniti, Waikaka Valley; aged 23 years. Deeply regretted. HAMILTON.— On the 13th December, 1902 (accidentally drowned), at Speargrass Flat, Arrow, little Jim, dearly beloved youngest son of the late John B. Hamilton, of Speargrass Flat; aged 18 months. "Safe in the arms of Jesus." HIGGIXSON.— On the 19lh December, at his parents' residence, No. 100 Great King street, Arthur William Dicken, the beloved infant eon of William and Nora Higginson, jun. ; aged 9J mouths. Deeply regretted. LANE.— On the 19th December, at her parents' residence, 104 Maclaggan street, Mabel Edna, youngest daughter of William and Fanny Laqe; aged 16 years and 11 months. MILLER. — Or> the 21st December. Biuce Incheß Miller, relict of the late Henry Miller, of Walnier House, George street. MITCHELL.— On the 17th December, at her residence, Balfour, Southland, Elizabeth Lena, the beloved wife of Thomas Mitchell; aged 34 years. MOFFAT.— On the 19th December, at Dunedin, William Moffat, late of Kaihiku; aged 54 years. MUNRO.-On the 18th December, 1902, at the Hospital, Dunedin, John Munro ; aged S3 years. OUGKTON.— On the 22nd December, at his residence, Edington Mains, Wright's Bueh, Southland, James Oughton, beloved husband of Jane Oughton, late of Janefield, East Taieri ; in his forty-fifth year. Deeply regretted. SHACKLOCK.— On the 17th December, at his residen-ce, Park street, Kensington, Henry Ely, the beloved husband of Elizabeth Shacklock; aged 63 years. SLIGO.— On the 16th December, at his parents' residence, Woodhaugh, Gordon Simpson, infant son of Alexander and Ann Shgo , aged 6 weeks.
