AUCKLAND, November 5. The weather for the second day's racing was fine, and the track was in capital order. The totalizator recipts for the day amounted to £1101. Dividend, £2 4s. October Trot. Two miles.— Sierra, 16sec, 1; Thomdean, 12sec, 2; Little Ben, 30sec, 3. Scratshed: Colenso. Won easily by 40 yards. Time, smin 18 l-ssec. Dividend, 15s. Class Trot. One mile and n-half.— Heiress, ssec, 1 ; Sir Robert, llsec, 2 ; La Grande, 16sec, 3. Won by 10 yards. Time, 4min 01-ssec. Dividend, £1 Bs. Harness Trot. One mile and a-quarter. — George, 22sec, 1; Beppo, 19sec, 2; Viscount-, lOsec, 3. Won by a clear yard. Time, 3min 33 l-ssec. Dividend, 15s. Tolegrapj Trot. One mile. — Luisitania, Gsec, 1 ; Waitekaura, osec, 2 ; Duke C, scratch, 3. Won by 10 yards. A protest was entered agaiust the winner on the grounds of inconsistent running, and the totalisator investments were impounded till to-morrow, pending the decision on the complaint.
