LYTTELTON HARBOUR BOARD. CHRISTCHURCH, August' 2B.
The Lyttelton Harbour Board has decided to instruct tho Harbour Improvement Committee to consider whether the board should advertise for an engineer at a salary of £1000 a year. Members stated at the meeting that tho harbour was in danger of falling behind other harbours in regard to facilities to shipping.
