THE BOOKING STONE, OAIBNMUIB HILL, OTAGO. These two photos were recently taken by Mr George A. Cuthbertson, engineer to the Vincent County Council, on the Cairnmuir Hill, near Clyde. They are very interesting illustrations, on account of the curious formation of the rocks, one of them bearing a striking resemblance to tiie celebrated Sphinx. The Molyneux can be seen in the distance.
